Kevin Nguyen, under the alias kng (pronounced k•n•g), is a Vietnamese-American music artist, producer, & DJ based in Grand Rapids, MI. His sound seamlessly blends hard-hitting beats and forward-thinking sounds, drawing inspiration from many influences like Trap, Hip Hop, Expiremental Bass, EDM, and House, creating a fresh yet familiar take in his music.

kng has played at shows, festivals, events, and venues across Michigan such as Breakaway Music Festival, Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival, The Intersection, The Crofoot, and Elektricity. Making a name for himself he has opened for artists like Sullivan King, Adventure Club, NURKO, and MIdnight Tyrannosaurus.

In his career, he has managed to release on on platforms like Alter/Ego, a label founded trap and bass phenom Hex Cougar. Other releases include EDM Sauce Records, The Subox Descendents, and Unbounded Limits.
