Kevin Nguyen, known as kng (pronounced k•n•g), is a Vietnamese-American DJ, producer, and music artist based in Grand Rapids, MI. Blending a spectrum of styles from Trap, 140, Dubstep, Club, Garage, Future Bass, and House —kng brings a bold, genre-fluid energy that resonates with diverse crowds across Michigan’s music circuit.

kng has performed at Breakaway Music Festival, Grand Rapids Asian Pacific Festival, The Intersection, The Crofoot, and Elektricity, where he’s opened for major acts like Sullivan King, Adventure Club, NURKO, and Midnight Tyrannosaurus. His energetic sets balance high-impact drops with melodic characters, turning every performance into an immersive, emotionally-charged experience.
