Kevin Nguyen, under the alias kng (pronounced k•n•g), is a Vietnamese-American music artist, producer, & DJ based in Grand Rapids, MI. His sound seamlessly blends hard-hitting beats and forward-thinking sounds, drawing inspiration from many influences like Trap, Hip Hop, Dubstep, Electronic Music, and House, bring a fresh, yet familiar sound pallet.

kng has played at shows, festivals, and venues throughout the state of Michigan such as Breakaway Music Festival, Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival, The Intersection, The Crofoot, and Elektricity. Making a name for himself, he has opened for headlining artists in the industry such as RL Grime, Sullivan King, Adventure Club, NURKO, and MIdnight Tyrannosaurus.

In his career, he has managed to release on on platforms like Alter/Ego, a label founded trap and bass phenom Hex Cougar. Other releases include EDM Sauce Records, The Subox Descendents, and Unbounded Limits.
