Kevin Nguyen, known as kng (pronounced k•n•g), is a Vietnamese-American DJ, producer, and music artist based in Grand Rapids, MI. Blending a spectrum of styles from Trap, 140, Dubstep, and Club Music.

kng has opened for artists like Sullivan King, Adventure Club, AVELLO, and YDG and his music has landed on tastemaker labels like Alter/Ego - founded by Hex Cougar - and Toronto-based label - Interval Audio which featured him on their 2026 Spring Compilation.

Also as a hip hop and R&B beatmaker, he has recently produced a track for THE SEVENth’s Skygod Part B EP—linking his work to Michigan’s AGO collective.

The name kng stands for ‘know no grounds’: a mindset rooted in breaking boundaries, blending genres, and uniting scenes, sounds, and identities. It represents a commitment to creating music that feels both forward-thinking and grounded in the raw energy of the crowd.
